Rosebank contains a whopping 500m barrels of oil, which is enough to produce more CO2 than the poorest 28 countries do in an entire year. Rosebank might have gotten the all-clear from the UK government, but Equinor - the oil giant behind the project - and its majority owner, the Norwegian Government, could still stop it.
